Garver’s Aviation Design Center in Fayetteville, AR is seeking an entry-level Aviation Project Engineer to design airport projects, including runways, taxiways, hangars, fuel farms, terminals, and related facilities. You will prepare complete design phase deliverables—drawings, specifications, cost estimates, exhibits, technical reports, and narratives—under senior engineer guidance.

The role requires a civil engineering degree (ABET-accredited), 0–1 years of related experience, and strong

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from ABET-accredited program.
0–1 year of related experience.
FE exam passed or ability to pass within 6 months.
Strong written and oral communication with internal and external clients.
Up to ~10% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Develop technical deliverables including Construction Plans, Specifications, Design Reports, Permit Documents, and Cost Estimates.
Attend and document client kick-off and progress review meetings.
Coordinate with clients on project requirements and status updates.
Coordinate with regulatory agencies to understand permitting requirements and submit documents.
Perform construction administration duties: site visits, shop drawing reviews, change orders, and closeout docs.
Perform onsite construction observation and inspection.
