Job summary

National Airlines in Orlando, FL seeks a Manager of Data Security and Maintenance Programs to lead security and maintenance governance within the Quality Control department. You will oversee SMS compliance, aviation security controls, and incident response coordination with FAA and upper management.

The role requires five years of relevant experience, an FAA A&P certificate, and strong project management skills, with travel up to 10% for training and conferences.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in a position of relative responsibility.
• 2 years of experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity.
• Extensive experience in project management.
• Ability to learn and use technical manuals (cyber security and eEnabling).
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel).
• Good leadership qualities and the ability to work alone making good decisions under pressure.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Good communication skills - verbal, written and email.
• Organized self-directed individual who can work well in a team environment.
• 10% - Travel to attend training and conferences related to cyber security.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the Company’s SMS per SMS Manual.
• Complete Initial Level 2 SMS Training and maintain currency.
• Promote a positive attitude toward safety and compliance within National Airlines.
• Responsible for all ANSP reporting to Upper Management and FAA.
• Ensure implementation of new processes and monitors compliance.
• Enforce security policies and procedures for aircraft network access, user management, data encryption, and incident response protocols.
• Develops and monitors all ANSP activities to ensure policy compliance.
• Implements and maintains a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect onboard network systems.
• Review network activity, identify threats, and respond to security incidents.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to perform annual reviews and tabletop exercises.
• Educate maintenance personnel on aircraft network security protocols.
• Monitor ANSP changes and propose future improvements.
• Maintain Maintenance Program task input and scheduling.
• Revise Inspection Program manuals per ADs and manufacturer updates.
• Assist with Major Repair/Alteration follow-up for inspection program.
• Revise task/job cards to include Company requirements.
• Prepare documents to meet 14 CFR/ICA requirements and airworthiness data.
• Manage department personnel and review current maintenance programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by DQC.
