Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA seeks a Spring 2027 Collegiate Intern for Aviation Cyber Security within the ESE organization. You will work on securing aircraft systems across the lifecycle, performing risk assessments, threat modeling, and security architecture evaluations with engineers across systems, software, and certification teams.

Qualifications

• Understanding of core cybersecurity principles and risk concepts.
• Knowledge of network architectures and communication protocols.
• Familiarity with threat modeling and risk assessment.
• Experience with scripting or software development (Python preferred).
• Basic Linux/OS administration knowledge.
• Experience with cybersecurity labs, CTFs, or research projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cyber risk assessments and threat modeling for aviation systems.
• Assist security requirements development and architecture evaluations.
• Analyze aircraft networks and data flows to identify vulnerabilities.
• Support documentation, tooling, and cross-functional design reviews.
