Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA, seeks a Collegiate Intern focused on Aviation Cyber Security within the Electronic Systems Engineering organization. You’ll work alongside Gulfstream engineers on securing aircraft systems across the product development lifecycle, contributing from day one.

The role covers cyber risk assessments, threat modeling, security requirements, and architecture evaluations, with on-site duties and a 12–16 week schedule; GPA 3.0 expected; available January 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); listed on resume.
• Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during Spring 2027 (beginning January 2027).
• Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14-16 weeks (spring and fall).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cyber risk assessments, threat modeling, and security requirements development.
• Assist with security architecture evaluations and verification activities.
• Analyze aircraft networks, software-enabled systems, data flows, and external interfaces for vulnerabilities.
• Support cybersecurity assessments, data analysis, automation scripting, and engineering tool development.
• Participate in cross-functional design reviews and documentation support.
