Job summary

Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Observer for Southwest Florida. You will monitor construction activities on airport-related projects, ensuring compliance with plans, codes and quality standards, while preparing reports and coordinating with teams.

The role requires travel across Southwest and Central Florida and involves an hourly, overtime-eligible schedule. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and extensive field-inspection

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, codes, and technical documents.
• Prepare inspection reports and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience inspecting structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex technical construction observation and inspection on airport-related projects.
• Monitor quality of materials, workmanship, and installation practices at all phases.
• Prepare reports and maintain daily inspection logs; communicate discrepancies to stakeholders.
• Attend meetings with managers, clients, contractors, and stakeholders; coordinate with inspectors and authorities.
