Job summary

Jacobs Solutions Inc. in Chicago, IL, seeks a Construction Management Intern for Airports/Aviation Facilities to join our Program Management / Construction Management team on summer 2027 projects.

You will support large-scale airport infrastructure initiatives, including concourse facilities, taxiways, runways, and airfield systems, working with engineers and project managers to deliver bold aviation solutions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aviation Management, or related degree
• Coursework related to building and/or civil design, CPM scheduling, construction methods & materials
• Authorization to work in the United States without need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction observation in the field and prepare documentation
• Assist in the RFI and submittal process and produce exhibits for projects and meetings
• Organize and maintain project files and documentation and communicate with clients to establish priorities, schedule, and goals
• Gain a holistic view of the program through involvement with Design, Architecture, Capital Improvement, Utilities, Quality, Admin, Scheduling, and Document Control
