Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the Airports/Aviation Facilities team in Baltimore, MD. You'll assist in airfield pavement design and airport facility planning, contributing to reports and CAD documentation while gaining hands-on field experience on large-scale projects.

The internship is onsite five days a week, with a hybrid working policy to enable collaboration with Jacobs offices and sites.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering with civil, mechanical/plumbing, electrical, systems, or architecture focus.
• Must be at least a rising junior and eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design of airfield pavements including runways, taxiways and aprons.
• Support development of airport terminal area plans and landside facilities.
• Prepare technical reports and design documentation for aviation projects.
• Participate in site visits to collect data and assess conditions.
