Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Journeyman Configuration Management Analyst to support the H-53 variants program at NAS Patuxent River.

This mid-level role maintains configuration control over critical aviation products and program datasets, applying defense CM processes to track modifications and verify engineering documentation. You will collaborate with engineering, logistics, and program management to ensure fleet readiness and lifecycle

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
• 3–10 years of experience in configuration control, technical data management, or program data analysis.
• Familiarity with MIL‑HDBK‑61A and defense change control workflows in a DoD/NAVAIR environment.
• High precision, strong analytical capability, and proficiency with defense CM databases and document control repositories.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and interpret data to maintain strict configuration control over baseline products.
• Track configuration changes and maintain configuration status accounting to prevent drift.
• Coordinate and support Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) across offices, engineering teams, and industry partners.
• Apply government processes for official documentation control and data management lifecycle procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and program management to evaluate modification impacts and prepare data packages for configuration control boards.
