Job summary

The entry-level role performs maintenance and alteration tasks on civil and government aviation articles according to current technical data, under the Lead Technician's supervision. Education requires a high school diploma or GED; you must be able to pass a background check for security clearance, and you should be mechanically inclined

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to satisfy a background investigation for security clearance.
• Mechanically inclined with basic math skills and familiarity with hand tools.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and teardown.
• Parts identification.
• Learn IPC/CMM usage.
• Learn FAA/repair shop paperwork flow.
• Basic disassemble and assembly under supervision.
• Attend daily and weekly safety meetings.
