V2X is seeking an Aircraft Component Repair Technician in Madison, MS to perform overhaul and repair of aviation components across multiple production areas. The role requires strong technical knowledge and a commitment to quality and safety.

You will act as SME in your assigned area, maintain status reports, and plan repair activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams. We offer competitive benefits and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Power Plant license preferred but not required.
• Strong technical knowledge in aircraft mechanical component repair is a must.
• 2+ years of experience in related maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft component overhaul and repair.
• Act as SME in the shop assigned.
• Maintain daily component status reports.
• Manage weekly component inventory and status reports using multiple sources of information.
• Interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms.
• Prioritize daily workload based on program, management, and/or scheduling requirements.
• Plan and execute component repair activities.
• Recognize or identify problems and provide input for solutions.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Read, understand, and respond to written instructions and logbook notations.
• Inform appropriate personnel of materials and equipment problems.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
