Job summary

V2X is seeking an Production Operator to support repair and overhaul of aircraft components in multiple production areas. You will engage in assembly, QA, and reliability testing under supervision, while gaining experience across systems including landing gear, wheels/brakes, and NDI processes.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of related aerospace experience; prior overhaul work is preferred. Strong attention to safety, documentation, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a standard 4 year high school or equivalent GED.
• 2+ years of related work experience required.
• Experience working in aerospace/aviation component overhaul preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs limited production activities by learning/assisting on repair and overhaul of aviation components (Landing Gear, NDI, Wheels/Brakes, etc.).
• Engages in non-routine and non-repetitive assembly, QA and reliability testing following established methods.
• Assists with production scheduling, material flow coordination, and expediting as needed.
• Operates hand and power tools, reads drawings and schematics of aircraft components, and interprets technical documents.
