The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Anchorage International Airport is seeking a full-time Communications & Public Relations Specialist to craft compelling narratives, manage communication strategies, and keep travelers and the public informed about airport projects, services, and operations.

You will collaborate with airport leadership, airlines, tenants, government agencies, and community partners to promote achievements, handle media relations, and support

Qualifications

Knowledge of producing and disseminating information through written, oral, and visual media and social media.
Ability to manage public information and media relations for a major airport.
Strong written and oral communication skills for diverse audiences.
Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and partners on communications programs.

Responsibilities

Coordinate public information and media relations for ANC.
Develop engaging content for social media and digital platforms.
Support marketing and community outreach initiatives.
Communicate important airport projects, services, and operational updates.
