Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Airports/Aviation Facilities team in Bedford, NH, working on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients' challenges locally and worldwide.

The intern will perform quantity takeoffs, design geometry, drainage, pavement markings, and collaborate with engineers across disciplines while gaining practical field experience. This paid internship offers exposure to aviation projects and potential career growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Ability to efficiently utilize time in executing tasks accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs, computer modeling, design calculations, and plan set production for airports.
• Design horizontal and vertical geometry, drainage calculations and sizing of systems, pavement markings, and layouts under supervision.
• Work closely with engineers and technicians in their discipline group on project tasks.
• Interpret plans from survey, drainage, structural and other disciplines and produce quality design.
• Observe site actions and assist with construction administration and management.
• Be a self-starter contributing quality work and ideas for project teams and growth.
