Job summary

RS&H, Inc. seeks a Civil Engineering Intern (Airfields) for a year-round 2027 internship in Los Angeles, CA. The role is based in-office to support the Aviation Infrastructure team and work on airfields and environmental planning projects.

You will gain experience on conventional and design-build projects, with emphasis on technical standards and cost-effective solutions, while collaborating with professionals and mentors in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited university
• 2.5 GPA or above
• Anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028
• Must report to Los Angeles, CA office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment

Responsibilities

• Support aviation infrastructure projects including airfields, environmental planning, and environmental stewardship & resiliency.
• Collaborate with team to define, master challenges and deliver cost-effective solutions for clients.
