Job summary

Egis is seeking a civil engineer to contribute to airport engineering projects in the United States, focusing on runways, taxiways, aprons, lighting, and navigational aids. You will prepare design reports, plans, and specifications while coordinating multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, 1+ years in the field, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• PE designation preferred.
• 1+ years in civil engineering; aviation experience and FAA knowledge a plus.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, and navigational aids.
• Prepare engineering design reports, construction plans, and contract documents/specifications.
• Assist with site design, sanitary wastewater, water, and hydraulic evaluations where applicable.
