Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks an entry-level Airport Civil Engineer to join the Florida Aviation team in Tampa, performing planning, design, and drawing production for airport infrastructure.

Responsibilities include data collection, routine calculations, and preparing permit-ready materials, with field observations as needed. Strong CAD skills and EIT are preferred for growth within a global engineering network.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required or pending degree.
• EIT preferred.
• Familiarity with airside and landside aviation projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, and production of engineering drawings for airport and related civil projects (runways, taxiways, aprons, roadways, parking).
• Conduct data collection and routine calculations under supervision.
• Prepare materials for reports and permit applications with guidance from experienced staff.
• Perform field observations of construction where appropriate.
• Convey design intent clearly in drawings and specifications.
