Job summary

Passero Associates in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking an Aviation Civil Engineer to support the development of airport project plans across Georgia and the Southeast. You will contribute to cost estimates, specifications, and design documents for civil aviation projects.

Responsibilities include conceptual and detailed designs, cost estimates, construction plans, reports, and field construction administration, under guidance of senior engineers, with opportunities to use AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 4 years civil engineering experience; aviation design preferred
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong communication skills; ability to report to Sandy Springs office; EIT preferred, PE a plus

• Develop design documents, construction plans, technical specifications, engineering reports, and project production packages
• Perform engineering design tasks under the direction of senior engineers

Theselectedcandidatewillcontributetototalphasingofprojectdelivery,fromconceptdevelopmentthroughconstructioncloseout,includingclientinteraction,whileleveragingthelatesttechnologiesandsoftwareadvancements.

• Course work in civil/infrastructure design, transportation engineering, water resources, pavement engineering, construction management, and related topics


• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D


• Strong communication skills


• EIT preferred, PE a plus


• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle


• Ability to report to our Sandy Springs office


• Ability to obtain Airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge required, including Federal Background Check (with clear record)
