Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Position Overview

The Aviation Chief Inspector will oversee all maintenance and inspection operations of the 145/135 Repair Station, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This role is crucial in leading a team of inspectors and mechanics to achieve operational excellence in corporate aviation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the inspection and maintenance processes for the 145/135 Repair Station.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
  • Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of maintenance work to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and address any maintenance-related issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years in corporate aviation
  • Minimum of 5 years inspection experience
  • Valid A&P License required.
  • Experience working in a Repair Station environment.
  • Knowledge of charter fleet operations and corporate aviation standards.
  • Experience with Bell 429 and Hawker 900XP aircraft.
  • Possession of an Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred.
  • Must have experience conducting Required Inspection Items (RII) for maintenance operations.
