Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Warehouse Agent at JFK Airport for part-time shifts. You will move air cargo within the warehouse, load/unload cargo from pallets, and prepare cargo for outbound flights. You may operate basic equipment and must meet all safety requirements.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate piece counts, weights, and documents, and working a 3PM–7AM schedule with weekend/holiday rotations. English proficiency and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Availability between 3PM - 7AM.
• High school diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and fluently speak and understand English.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to judge distances.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to work in an environment with aircraft activity.

Responsibilities

• Move air cargo within designated warehouse.
• Load and unload cargo from pallets and containers.
• Build up cargo for outbound flights.
• Break down cargo from import flights.
• Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from semitrucks.
• May operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklift, aircraft pallets and pallet jacks.
• Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions, and documents as appropriate when accepting or delivering cargo.
• Read off-load sheets to determine destination of cargo and follow safety protocols.
