Job summary

WORLDWIDE FLIGHT SERVICES in New York, NY is seeking an Air Logistics Warehouse Associate (part-time) to load/unload cargo, move shipments within the warehouse, and prepare cargo for outbound flights. The role requires basic equipment operation and adherence to security procedures.

The position offers a pay rate of $22/hr plus $5.55 HTA supplemental pay, and requires a HS diploma, 18+ years, and a valid driver’s license. Equal opportunity employer committed to inclusion.

Qualifications

• English language skills required.
• Ability to work rotating shifts incl. weekends/holidays.
• Able to judge distances accurately.
• Strong communication with teammates and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Move air cargo within the designated warehouse.
• Load and unload cargo from pallets and containers.
• Build up cargo for outbound flights.
• Break down cargo from import flights.
• Facilitate loading/unloading of cargo to/from semitrucks.
• May operate basic cargo handling equipment (forklift, pallets, pallet jacks).
• Verify freight counts, weights, dimensions and documents.
