Job summary

Swissport International AG is seeking a Cargo Agent at JFK Building 9 to organize warehouse and cargo handling, load/unload cargo, and ensure safety and SOP compliance. The expected pay rate is $21.25/hr. Full-time employees receive health and wellness benefits, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation time, sick time, and company holidays.

Location: JFK Building 9. Activities include loading/unloading cargo, preparing and palletizing cargo, and ensuring paperwork accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Ability to work under pressure.

• Ability to work in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload air cargo from/to trucks.
• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed.
• Ensure cargo paperwork is correct.
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment.
• Follow Dangerous Goods requirements and regulations.
• Comply with Swissport SOPs and policies.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
