Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, store, and distribute freight at our facility. You will read airway bills and manifests and move goods using a forklift, ensuring accurate counts and proper storage.

The role requires physical fitness, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and flexibility to work weekends or holidays. Prior safety training and English proficiency are essential for successful performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass pre-employment testing.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Reads airway bills, bills of lading, or freight manifest to determine items moved.
• Conveys freight from receiving to storage or designated areas using forklift or transporter.
• Sorts and stores materials according to destination and sequence.
• Ensures dangerous goods are stored in proper area and maintains safety procedures.
• Fills requisitions and distributes items to other locations as needed.
• Records counts, weighs and checks items for conformance to air waybill.
• Performs cargo build-up/breakdown and handles freight to/from skids and pallets.
• Maintains clean, hazard-free work areas and adheres to PPE and safety policies.
