Job summary

Alliance Ground International (AGI) is seeking a Material Handler to support fast-paced aviation operations in Omaha. You will load and unload cargo, verify counts and weights, and ensure proper documentation and security of cargo and equipment.

Responsibilities include operating basic equipment, maintaining inventory, and completing paperwork while adhering to safety procedures. The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license with a clean

Qualifications

• Good communication with flight crew and ground crew to coordinate cargo and equipment.
• Basic math to calculate piece counts, weights and dimensions.
• Ability to use computer systems to track cargo and documentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues during loading and unloading.
• Strong time management to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate loading and unloading of cargo to and from trucks.
• Check freight for piece count, weight, dimensions and proper documents.
• Issue warehouse receipts or collect signed delivery receipts.
• Ensure cargo release is issued before delivery to consignee or agent.
• Operate basic cargo handling equipment like forklifts and pallets.
• Break down/import cargo, sort as required, and store properly.
• Build up cargo for export flights per supervisor directions.
• Maintain inventory of freight, supplies, and containers.
• Maintain cargo and equipment security and report incidents.
• Keep work area clean and report damaged equipment.
• Accept assignments from leads and management and complete related paperwork.
• Follow safety procedures and complete required training.
• Be punctual, prepared, and safe; willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
