Job summary

Delta Airport Consultants, Inc. is seeking a CAD Engineering Technician to support planning, design, bidding, and construction phases. You will prepare CAD drawings and exhibits, and learn our CAD standards while working with Civil 3D data.

Ideal candidates have AutoCAD experience with Civil 3D and Autodesk tools, plus a keen eye for detail. Travel for onboarding and training is required as part of joining our aviation-focused team.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2018+ or equivalent.
• Civil 3D experience preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk tools in an engineer drawing/plan production environment.
• Experience in a civil engineering firm is a plus; transferable skills encouraged.
• Familiarity with airport/road/site design and survey preferred but not required.
• Must travel for onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide various aspects of support for projects in the planning, design, bidding, and construction phases.
• Prepare CAD drawings and exhibits for projects.
• Learn and follow company CAD standards.
• Work with design data (by others) in Civil 3D.
• Coordinate printing and preparation of product deliverables.
