Job summary

Gulfstream in the United States is seeking an entry-level cabinetmaker to support aircraft interiors. You will learn to fabricate cabinets and wood-surfaced subassemblies from design drawings under direct supervision, developing precision and reusable skills for cabin interiors.

Responsibilities include using safety procedures, tracking parts, and contributing to improvements. The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, climbing ladders, and working 36 hours per week (paid for 40) on Fri–Sun

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Woodworking, wood finishing or auto body & painting experience in a technical environment or completion of Technical Certificate in cabinet making preferred.
• Completion in current year youth apprenticeship program may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Learn entry-level technical skills and knowledge related to aircraft cabinetmaking.
• Read design/engineering drawings and use tools/materials to prepare and make furniture.
• Utilize the material tracking system to create parts demand and track work.
• Follow safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and sign off on completed work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
