Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, FL is seeking a full-time Associate Buyer to support purchasing of materials and services at the best price, quality, and delivery. The role covers requisition through receipt, and includes maintaining vendor relationships to meet company objectives.

You will assist in negotiations, enter and manage purchase orders in Corridor, monitor orders for delivery and price changes, and coordinate shipping modes with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes including demand management, sourcing and supplier relationships.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication; ability to work with vendors at all levels.
• Strong data analytics and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in negotiations for purchases at the best price, highest quality and best delivery per corporate policies.
• Source primary and secondary vendors for products; enter and manage purchase orders in Corridor system.
• Monitor orders for delivery schedules and price changes; advise originator of current status.
• Coordinate shipping modes with customers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain accuracy of open PO reports including part numbers, pricing, and delivery dates.
• Communicate with user groups to determine changes in usage or potential phase out of items.
• Maintain knowledge of interfacing areas to ensure material and paperwork flow.
• Engage vendors to determine make-vs-buy options and solutions for operations.
• Gather required communication and information for all parts and work orders.
