Job summary

The City of Atlanta seeks an Airport BI Engineer to lead the design and delivery of data-driven insights using Power BI and the Power Platform. You will build governed data models, analytics products, and automated workflows to support analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives across DOA.

You will collaborate with EDS and DOA stakeholders to deploy dashboards, data pipelines, and AI-ready data assets, enabling informed decisions and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; 3+ years of data analysis and visualization experience.
• Proven track record of implementing BI solutions in large, complex organizations.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, data governance, and AI/ML or generative AI analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Researches, designs, and implements BI and Power Platform solutions aligned with enterprise AI roadmap and data strategy.
• Creates, maintains, and optimizes Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic data models.
• Develops Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate) to automate workflows and enhance analytics capabilities.
• Defines analytics requirements with business teams and delivers actionable insights.
• Implements data transformation, builds data pipelines, and integrates tools with the enterprise data platform.
• Builds reusable, certified datasets and data products for reporting, self-service analytics, and AI use cases.
• Supports AI roadmap by preparing data and reports for AI, automation, and passenger management use cases.
