Job summary

StandardAero is offering an entry-level Bench Operator position in Palm City, FL. You will gain skills by hands-on training and mentorship from experienced aviation maintenance professionals, with the opportunity to support different areas of the shop.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating hand tools, ovens and grinders, blade blending/blasting, and various metalworking tasks. On-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Entry level role with on-the-job training.
• Mentorship from experienced aviation maintenance professionals.
• Opportunity to learn and support different shop areas.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for 50% of shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hand tools including hammers, files, drills, and grinders.
• Operate low temperature ovens and hand grinders to perform various operations.
• Blending, blasting & stripping of aircraft engine blades.
• Chasing threads, deburring, angle checking, coldworking metals and masking.
• Other duties as assigned.
