Job summary

You will oversee aircraft avionics, inspect and approve systems, and coordinate with aviation organizations to ensure safety and compliance. The role requires FAA Airframe certification, FCC GROL or NCATT credentials, and ongoing participation in training and audits.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
• Background investigation and/or fingerprint check required.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• FAA Airframe Certificate required.
• FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License or NCATT certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and approves avionics and UAVs; supervises complex operations.
• Issues approvals and monitors multiple aviation organizations.
• Serves as primary contact on aircraft, avionics, and maintenance requirements.
• Evaluates maintenance and training program adequacy for avionics personnel.
• Reviews corrections to ensure compliance with policy and standards.
• Participates in ASTAT, QA audits and field reviews.
