Job summary

The Aviation Maintenance Technician role at TURBINE ENGINE SPECIALISTS INC in Fort Worth, TX, is a first-shift position from 7:00 to 3:30. You will conduct repair or overhaul tasks on gas turbine engines, APUs, and related components, performing troubleshooting, disassembly, inspection, assembly, testing, and preservation under FAA regulations and OEM manuals.

Responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical manuals, using precision measuring instruments, and adhering to safety

Qualifications

• 2+ years of gas turbine engine experience or FAA Power Plant license.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow technical manuals and specs.
• Experience using micrometers and precision measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and write English and follow FAA, OEM manuals and safety rules.
• Complete required TES training and understand Federal Regulations.
• Troubleshoot and repair on or off-wing under supervision.
• Disassemble/assemble turbine engines using aircraft tools and balance machines.
• Inspect engine parts for defects with precision measuring equipment.
• Evaluate parts for repair or replacement using micrometers.
• Perform non-destructive testing per standards and specs.
• Use databases to document parts, models, serial numbers and data.
