Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Aviation Specialist to be based in New York, NY, with a Spring/Summer 2027 start. The position supports aviation market analysis, builds an opportunity pipeline, and works under the supervision of a market sector leader.

The role includes creating designs and drawings, collecting data, and contributing to pre-sales activities while you gain design and analytic skills in a Hybrid New York office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Construction Management or related field or demonstrated equivalency.
• Drafting/CAD applications (MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in aviation market analysis and opportunity pipeline management.
• Building analytic and design skills.
• Conducting aviation design under supervision of a market sector leader.
• Creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings under supervision.
• Collecting and analyzing data under supervision of the Department Manager.
• Using computer software as a tool for solving basic design problems.
• Performing work in accordance with budget and schedule under supervision.
• Assist in tracking financials for projects and pursuits under supervision.
