Job summary

Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) is seeking an Aircraft Painter for a full-time, 12-month contract in Savannah, GA. The role involves preparing, painting, and detailing aircraft per company standards and procedures.

The position requires 1–4 years of painting experience (aircraft preferred) and a High School diploma/GED. DOT/FAA program participation and a valid driver’s license may be required; lifting up to 40 lbs and reading engineering docs are needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–4 years painting experience; aircraft paint processes preferred.
• Possession or ability to obtain a DOT/FAA drug and alcohol program clearance.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering documentation.
• Must be able to pass Pulmonary Function Test for respirator certification.
• Climb, lift up to 40 lbs, work in tight spaces, and work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Mask, sand, and prepare aircraft for paint application.
• Apply glazing and sealing compounds in preparation for final painting.
• Operate and maintain painting prep and priming equipment; mix paints and primers.
• Perform sealant work and final detailing on aircraft edges.
• Ensure safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies are followed.
