Job summary

VSE Corporation is seeking an Aviation Accessory Technician to perform maintenance and alteration on civil aviation articles in accordance with FAA-approved data, including Instructions for Continued Airworthiness and Airworthiness Directives.

Responsibilities include assembling limited fuel, oil, or air accessories per CMM, using precision tools, reading technical data, generating data plates with a laser system, and documenting repair work orders.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of relevant/technical work experience.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and hand tools effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic computer operating skills.
  • Flexible to changing workloads/priorities based on customer requirements.
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of aviation maintenance, MRO, or accessory repair.
  • Preferred: High mechanical aptitude.

Job description

SUMMARY: The Aviation Accessory Technician will perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
