Job summary

SkyIO, Inc. is seeking a mid-career engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy significant portions of an AVEVA MES project under the direction of the Technical Lead. You will create design documentation and work with a UI/UX Designer, consultants, and customers to deliver solutions that meet specifications.

You will mentor junior engineers and participate in on-site deployment to ensure user adoption. You will bring hands-on AVEVA MES implementation experience, exposure to MOM technologies,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with implementation and upgrades on AVEVA MES.
• Experience with MES implementations across multiple programs lifecycle.
• Exposure to Shopfloor integration and Enterprise Integration.
• Familiarity with MOM technologies and data visualization in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy portions of AVEVA MES projects under guidance.
• Create design documentation and collaborate with UI/UX designer, consultants, and customers.
• Develop functionality per specifications and ensure quality through testing and code reviews.
• Participate in deployment and startup activities, including on-site work for user adoption.
• Mentor junior engineers as appropriate.

Job description

This mid-career role is responsible for design, development, testing, and deployment of signifcant portions of an AVEVA MES project at the direction of the Technical Lead and Project manager. Creates design documentation, working with a UI/UX Designer, consultant, and customers. Develops functionality to specifications in an efficient manner. Ensures quality of solution through testing and code reviews. Participates in deployment and startup activities, including on-site work to ensure user adoption. Mentors younger team members as appropriate.

• Hands on experience with implementation and upgrades on AVEVA MES.
• Exposure to MOM technologies including automated data collection historian applications visualization quality and efficiency in manufacturing SCADA automated decision control workflow database applications.
• Experience in MES implementations for at least 3 to 4 MES programs experience full life cycle preferred.
• Exposure to Shopfloor integration Enterprise Integration.
• Experience communication with both internal and external stackholders.
• Experience and willingness to mentor junior engineers.
