Zantech is looking for an upcoming talented Audio Visual (A/V) and Video Teleconference (VTC) Technician to provide technical support for classified and unclassified Audio Visual (A/V) and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems.
Responsibilities Include, But Will Not Be Limited To
- Provide technical support for classified and unclassified Audio Visual (A/V) and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain VTC equipment including codecs, flat screens, projectors, speakers, microphones, and related components
- Respond to service requests during core hours (0600-1800 Monday through Friday) Configure and test VTC infrastructure to ensure connectivity and availability
- Provide face-to-face system user training and develop Quick Reference Cards for end users
- Support special AV events including award ceremonies, Commander's All Calls, and other official functions
- Maintain VTC SharePoint page and documentation in accordance with Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS)
- Support end users with the operation of VTC endpoints, projectors, and peripherals
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and audiovisual specifications/schematics
- Perform cable management and implement proper installation procedures
Required Experience Or Knowledge Of The Following Technologies/functions
- Knowledge of SIPRNet, NIPRNet, secure and non-secure VTC operating environments
- Ability to work with VTC codecs, video controllers, and audio control systems
- Experience with troubleshooting AV and VTC systems
- Familiarity with installing and configuring audiovisual interfaces, touch panels, and related components
- Ability to lift 50-60 lbs., climb, crawl, and perform physical installation work
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment
Required Certifications/Education
- IAT Level 2 certification (within 6 months of contract start if granted elevated rights to VTC servers)
- Annual Information Assurance (IA) training completion required
- AT Level 1 Awareness Training
- OPSEC Training
Required Security Clearance
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
