Job Description

We are excited to recruit new talent to join our growing and innovative team. The AV / VTC Engineer codes, tests, debugs, documents, and installs new AV software and updates existing ones. This fast-paced position works directly with the Programming team, Project Managers, Engineers, and customers to identify opportunities to improve operating effectiveness and efficiency of software applications. Our work focuses heavily on the Special Operations community, providing an opportunity to work on some of the most cutting-edge government facilities in the world.

Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as the primary system commissioner, ensuring all systems are functional from a programming, networking, audio, and video standpoint.
  2. Develop and facilitate customer acceptance tests and provide end-user training.
  3. Participate in design team efforts reviewing drawings and equipment lists to ensure systems meet all requirements such as size, shape, arrangement, and capabilities.
  4. Assist project management with integration scheduling, as well as determining project manning and technical requirements.
  5. Perform configuration of equipment following industry standards, best practices, and government security guidelines.
  6. Develop Digital Signal Processing (DSP) files from scratch.
  7. Stay updated on new and emerging technologies, including understanding of audio and video flow, AEC, and EDID principles.

This position is located in Chesapeake, VA. Limited relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates. Applicants must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Chesapeake, VA or surrounding areas.
