Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Audiovisual Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience in a University setting supporting classroom technology or events is preferred.
  • Knowledge of audiovisual equipment and related instructional technology.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, operate, and troubleshoot classroom computers, laptops, projectors, displays, and instructional technology.
  • Monitor classrooms and spaces to identify and resolve equipment problems promptly.
  • Maintain classroom audiovisual equipment to ensure reliable operation.
  • Set up and break down audiovisual equipment for classes, meetings, and campus events.
  • Provide audio support including sound systems, microphones, and recording equipment.
  • Assist with installation and deployment of TVs and multimedia equipment across campus.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding equipment repairs and installations.
  • Provide accurate and informative technical assistance to faculty, staff, students, and vendors.
  • Work independently while escalating issues when needed.
