Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer and audio/visual equipment used in electronic classrooms.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in management or team leadership.
  • Extensive understanding of audio, video, and live production.
  • Knowledge of live sound production and various mixing consoles.
  • Knowledge of broadcast switcher technology (Broadcast Pix, NewTek, AJA, Blackmagic).
  • Strong understanding of Windows, Mac OS, Android, and iOS devices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation, installation, and maintenance of all equipment in electronic classrooms, auditoriums, and boardrooms.
  • Evaluate and recommend purchases to meet the video production and media service needs within budget.
  • Oversee the college’s live stream and video production development.
  • Coordinate preparation for on-campus events with internal and external entities.
  • Oversee all live audio/video/light production of campus events.
  • Supervise full-time, part-time, and student workers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology Support Services.
  • Provide or schedule support for evening and weekend events.
