Job Description

You Are:

  • An experienced residential AV/technology system designer specializing in luxury residential projects for many years. You are good with people, comfortable collaborating with a sales team, and engaging directly with clients. You love technology and are passionate about creating systems that enhance clients' lives, working with a team to achieve this goal.

You Have:

  • Experience with design, layout, drafting, and proposal creation for residential technology systems using tools such as CAD (required), Revit (ideally), and deep knowledge of control systems (Crestron, C4, Savant), lighting/shading systems (Lutron), and networks. A steady work history (3+ years between jobs), a pleasant disposition, and high emotional intelligence.

Your Location:

  • This position is fully remote.
  • US-based applicants only (no visa sponsorship).

Your Schedule:

  • Full-time (40 hours/week).
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (EST).

Your Contribution to HEDSouth:

  • Create design and engineering documentation for low-voltage system implementation in high-end residences.
  • Understand design software such as CAD (required) and Revit.
  • Deep understanding of signal flow, networks, lighting/shading systems, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with the built environment and project phases.
  • Knowledge of Lutron and/or Crestron systems.

HEDSouth's Contribution to You:

  • Salary range: $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
  • Simple IRA with 3% match.

  • PTO: 2 days after 90 days, 5 after 1 year, 10 after 2 years, 15 after 10 years.
