Overview

AV Staff members set up and operate the video, audio, and lighting equipment used to enhance live events. This is an on-call as needed position.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $13.00.

This position will remain open until June 6, 2025.

Responsibilities
  1. Knowledge and experience in MS Office applications.
  2. Knowledge to install a printer, scanner, internet connectivity and WIFI connectivity.
  3. A good command of the English language: Spoken and Written.
  4. Must be presentable as this position will interface with clients frequently.
  5. Commitment and ability to work on flexible shifts, days off, and long hours; ability to provide lateral service to other departments with different job characteristics.
  6. Knowledge of troubleshooting technical issues, instantly pinpointing faults and remedy during an event under Electronics, Audio, Video, and Lighting.
  7. Experience in handling events.
  8. General knowledge of basic electronics and connectivity.
  9. Basic PC troubleshooting, i.e.: hardware and software failures and network connectivity issues.
  10. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Must have a valid NC driver’s license.
  3. Must have demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  4. Customer service experience.
  5. Exhibits good interpersonal skills; collaborates with others; maintains composure when faced with difficult situations and personalities.
  6. Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
  7. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language.
  8. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, remaining flexible in your role.
  9. Ability to work flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  10. Knowledge and experience in Adobe CS, CC, or any photo and video editing software a plus.
