Job summary

IES Communications is seeking an experienced Audiovisual (AV) Project Manager to oversee commercial AV installation projects from pre-planning through final closeout. This role focuses on keeping projects on schedule, on budget, and aligned with safety and quality expectations.

You will coordinate labor, materials, equipment, clients, and installation teams, lead project meetings, and communicate progress to management.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of commercial audiovisual installation project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial AV installation projects from pre-planning through project closeout.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, safely, and according to quality standards.
• Manage day-to-day project operations, schedules, resources, and priorities.
• Coordinate labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and technical resources.
• Communicate staffing needs and project requirements to management in advance.
• Coordinate and approve equipment and product purchasing.
• Conduct site visits during the pre-planning phase.
• Partner closely with Sales, clients, installation teams, and management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead regular project and team meetings.
• Track and document project progress, change orders, logistics, and key project events.
• Oversee pre-commissioning testing and quality control.
• Manage subordinate employee timecards.
• Coordinate and/or provide client training.
• Obtain final client sign-offs upon successful project completion.
• Travel up to 25%, occasionally with limited advance notice.

Audiovisual (AV) Project Manager Job Summary IES Communications is seeking an experienced Audiovisual (AV) Project Manager to oversee commercial AV installation projects from pre-planning through final closeout. This position is responsible for keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality and safety expectations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing commercial audiovisual installation projects, understands the construction process, and is comfortable coordinating labor, materials, equipment, clients, installation teams, and multiple project priorities.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• AVIXA/InfoComm CTS certification preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.
