Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's in Engineering with 5+ years or Master's in Engineering with 3+ years of progressive experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience programming and deploying Crestron control system programs for Conference Rooms and Operations Centers.
• Applicants must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design configuration frameworks for large, complex resilient systems.
• Commission audio-visual systems: equipment setup, calibration, network configuration, and video solutions.
• Perform peer reviews and provide feedback on control system programs and touch panels.
• Create post-installation documentation for O&M of AV systems.
• Develop and conduct on-site user and administrator training for installed AV systems.
• Track and communicate goals and progress to Project Managers and clients.

We are seeking a AV Program Engineer 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

You will be working with a dynamic team of system engineers responsible for design decisions, implementation, and programming in all areas of A/V Systems and the technical direction of multiple projects across multiple programs for operations. Responsibilities include designing the systems hardware and software framework for large complex resilient systems and formulating high-level architectural solutions to ensure implemented solutions meet stakeholder needs, standards, and performance requirements.

Essential Responsibilities and Activities Include but are Not Limited to:

• Designing configuration frameworks and documentation for large complex resilient systems.
• Commissioning Audio Visual Systems including; configuring equipment, calibrating and tuning Audio Systems, coordinating configuration of customer equipment (Cisco Video Teleconferencing Suites, Microsoft Teams Systems and VDI PCs), Calibrating and setting up Video Walls, configuring A/V Network switches and troubleshooting network issues, Control System testing and bug remediation.
• Performing peer reviews and providing feedback of team member designs, control system programs and touch panels.
• Developing post installation documentation to facilitate Operation and Maintenance of Audio-Visual Systems.
• Develop and conduct on-site user and administrative training for the installed integrated audio/visual systems.
• Developing and communicating specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
• Accurately track the status of source code development to Project Managers, Engineering Managers and clients.

Qualifications Clearance/Citizen Type:

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Applicants MUST be able to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance.
