Qualifications

• Experience with archival audiovisual collections.
• Ability to interact with library staff and the university community.
• Willingness to participate in disaster salvage and state-level responses.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and move loaded book trucks up to 300 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide preservation care and handling of AV materials.
• Convert AV materials to digital formats.
• Recommend digital preservation and storage practices.
• Collaborate with the Library’s AV Preservation Librarian and staff.
• Support disaster salvage of library materials as needed.
