Job summary

Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance (DZCA) is seeking an AV Technical Coordinator to support events and campus-wide audiovisual systems. You will work with staff to identify needs, set up and operate equipment, and ensure reliable AV services for guest experiences and internal programs.

You will coordinate with the AV team, IT, Facilities, and partners to troubleshoot issues, manage safety protocols, and maintain equipment records.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting audiovisual equipment, live events, meeting technology, and campus-wide AV systems is preferred.
• Experience in high-volume attractions like zoos or museums is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, set up, operate, test, monitor, and strike audiovisual equipment for meetings, presentations, trainings, and events across the campus.
• Partner with managers and staff to identify technical needs, room layouts, schedules, and support plans.
• Provide responsive, professional support during live events and daily operations, troubleshooting audio, video, projection, and signage.
