The Role

Presidio is seeking an on-site AV Integration Technician responsible for installing displays, projectors, audio systems, control systems, and teleconferencing systems. This position is onsite in Charlotte, NC (Whitehall Park), with regional travel to client sites on a regular basis.

Travel Requirements

You will be expected to travel up to client sites daily, including out-of-town/overnight travel weekly (up to 60% - 80% of the time). The position is based out of Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities Include
  1. Onsite installation of displays, projectors, audio and control systems, and teleconferencing equipment.
  2. Installation, testing, and termination of low voltage cabling supporting AV systems.
  3. Following instructions from Lead Technicians and Project Managers to complete installations.
  4. Basic rack wiring.
  5. Learning to operate collaboration platforms; ongoing education for AV certification (CTS) is encouraged for growth.
  6. Assisting with inventory, staging, and testing of AV and network hardware.
  7. Communicating with other trades and handling basic customer interactions onsite.
  8. Travel to various job sites as required.
Required Skills and Professional Experience
  1. Experience in trades or other hands-on technical industries.
  2. Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Office.
  3. Valid Driver's License.
  4. High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor's degree, or military experience.
  5. At least 3 years of experience in the low voltage or AV industry.
  6. Ability to work on a ladder, lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work with arms raised for extended periods.
