Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in AV systems installation and troubleshooting.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

NCC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Audio Visual Installer to support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex audiovisual systems in a government environment. This role requires a strong technical background in AV integration, system troubleshooting, networking, and control systems, along with the ability to lead installation teams and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and experience supporting mission-critical AV environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform complex audiovisual (AV) systems installations and integrations
• Conduct site surveys to evaluate project requirements and installation feasibility
• Fabricate and assemble AV equipment racks
• Load and configure control system code
• Commission, test, and troubleshoot AV systems to ensure full operational functionality

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Minimum 5 years of experience working independently and collaboratively in team environments
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated technical reading and writing skills
• Minimum 5 years of experience fabricating, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting audiovisual (AV) systems and equipment, including projectors, control systems, switchers, scalers, wireless microphones, lighting controllers, touch recognition systems, and integrated AV environments
• Minimum 5 years of experience configuring AV network equipment and troubleshooting control systems
• Minimum 5 years of experience reading and creating technical documentation, drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills with experience supporting multicultural environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Technology, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology, Radio/Television, Communications, or a related field
• AVIXA certifications (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I)
• Manufacturer certifications such as Biamp, ClearOne, Crestron, Cisco/Tandberg, Shure, AMX, or Extron
• Experience supporting government contracts
• Experience training end users on AV systems
• Experience troubleshooting IP networks, video teleconferencing (VTC), and control systems, including Crestron Studio programming
• Experience supporting Windows environments, streaming appliances, storage servers, video production servers, asset management systems, and remote AV device management
• Ability to support multiple computer operating systems
