OneButton is seeking an AV Installation Technician to install and service high-end smart home systems in premium Los Angeles residences. This role offers a clear path from Technician to Lead Technician and onward to Service and Programming, with hands-on field work and collaboration with the System Design team.

The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years in AV or related trades, basic electrical and networking knowledge, and a willingness to work on-site at our LA office and sites around the area.

Formación

• Experience on construction sites and ability to climb ladders.
• 2+ years in AV, low-voltage, smart home, or related trade.
• Basic electrical and networking knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Install audio, video, and home theater systems in premium homes.
• Pull/Terminate/Test low-voltage cabling.
• Build and lace network racks.
• Install lighting control, keypads, motorized window treatments, and WiFi.
• Commission, configure, and test systems.
• Read construction plans and diagrams.
• Coordinate with contractors on active sites.
• Troubleshoot and service existing systems.

Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00 / hour

Description

We're looking for an AV Technician to install and service high-end smart home systems in premium homes across Los Angeles. There's a clear path to grow from Technician to Lead Technician to Service and Programming.

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ.

Your Location:

• Our Office: 4151 Redwood Ave #405, Los Angeles, CA 90066
• Projects are located in the surrounding area

Your Schedule:

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk) – We do not short your hours!!!
• Mon-Fri: 8:00am-4:00pm

Your Manager:

• Chris, System Design

Your Contribution to OneButton:

• Install audio, video, and home theater systems (TVs, projectors, speakers)
• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Speaker, Control, RCA)
• Build and lace network racks
• Install lighting control and keypads, motorized window treatments, intercom, surveillance, access control, and WiFi
• Commission, configure, and test systems
• Read and interpret construction plans, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Coordinate with contractors and other trades on active construction sites
• Troubleshoot and service existing systems

Your Ideal Background/Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in AV, low-voltage, smart home, or a related trade
• Basic electrical and networking knowledge

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with Lutron (HomeWorks QS, RadioRA), Savant, Control4, or Crestron
• Access control and intercom systems (2N, Siedle, smart locks)
• CEDIA, Lutron, or manufacturer certifications; OSHA 10/30
