Job description

*Description:*
Our client is looking for an AV Field Engineer to provide service in this market. We are seeking an experienced Troubleshooter with an extensive service/maintenance background in the Audio/Visual space. The major brand of equipment is Crestron; familiarity with toolbox is also required. Must be professional and capable of interfacing with enterprise customers. The position covers local travel, with mileage paid. Pay is negotiable based on experience, approximately $40 to $50/hr.

**Responsibilities include:**
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to equipment and systems such as:

• Custom Control systems: Crestron DM and NVX / AMX, BIAMP, QSC, DANTE AUDIO
• Audio video systems in executive board rooms and conference centers
• Video teleconferencing equipment and systems
• Audio Visual over IP (AVoIP) networks for LAN, WAN, and internet
• Audio DSP systems including amplifiers, speakers, and microphones
• Projection display devices and systems
• Video wall equipment and systems
• Digital signage equipment and systems
• RF Systems (analog and digital) - to a lesser extent

**Additional responsibilities:**
- Conduct Preventative Maintenance testing
- Perform site surveys for service quotes
- Write concise service reports and system surveys
- Manage multiple service projects
- Lead and mentor junior/intermediate technicians

**Qualifications:**
- Two-year diploma from a technical college or equivalent experience
- CTS certification preferred or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of field service experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, climb ladders/scaffolding, and lift over 50 pounds
- Capable of working in various environments (hot, humid, cold, high places, cramped spaces)
- Skills in audiovisual systems, Crestron, audio, service, video conferencing, installation
