Job summary

IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to a variety of markets. The AV Field Engineer II will troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, interpret complex drawings and manuals, create shop drawings and submittals, program DSPs, and commission audio systems in field and in‑house settings.

Minimum 2–4 years in audiovisual commercial integration, a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), proficiency with Microsoft Office, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Will have at least 2–4 years of overall audio visual commercial integration industry experience.
• Must have a proven track record in audio visual systems engineering and control systems commissioning.
• Must be able to work well with other people.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment in a senior service support role.
• Understand and create shop drawings and submittals for new projects.
• Program and commission DSPs and AV components (Biamp/QSC/BSS/ClearOne).
• Configure Crestron/Extron/AMX and matrix switches; set up VTC systems.
• Commission audio systems and configure IP addressable devices.
