Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $55.00/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio visual systems, including installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. This role requires the technical expertise to ensure that complex audio visual systems are set up to function flawlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, troubleshoot and test audio visual systems, including (but not limited to) projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing equipment.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all installations meet company standards and client expectations.
  • Utilize hand tools for equipment installation and repair tasks.
  • Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and wiring configurations.
  • Perform field service visits to client locations to address technical issues or perform routine maintenance.
  • Provide client training on newly installed system.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including as-builts and test reports.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in audio visual engineering in a commercial integrations environment.
  • Proficiency in configuring and testing AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS) and basic IP networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components relevant to audio visual systems.
  • A strong work ethic with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
